Pretty much it involved trial and error process.. It's, indeed, a simple way to create two-tones silhouette effect. Obviously start with the photo you want to apply the effect to - convert to black and white - apply cut-out style - adjust levels - apply Gaussian blur filter - adjust color curves - a little this and that for the final touch.. and there you go... voila! I'm still not satisfied with the results.. as always..
